Registered Social Worker OCSWSSW #850935
Hey, I’m Lizzy! I’m a Registered Social Worker. I believe that therapy is a space for growth, discovery, and even laughter. While the process isn’t always easy, I’m here as a supporter, mentor, and collaborator, helping you navigate challenges in a way that works for you. From a young age, I was the person friends turned to for support, and with mental health struggles in my own family, I became passionate about understanding different diagnoses and how people with unique ways of thinking contribute meaningfully to the world. That curiosity led me to the helping profession, where I approach therapy with openness, humility, and a deep respect for different ways of understanding. I’m not here as the expert on your life, you are. My goal is to guide, challenge, and reflect alongside you, while always working towards the goal of shared self growth.
Originally from Ottawa, I completed my Master of Social Work at Wilfred Laurier University and now live in Kitchener. With 14 years in the field, I take a client-guided, intersectional approach to therapy, exploring how identity, environment, and systemic factors shape our experiences. I am a neurodivergent person, and have a deep passion for supporting others who are navigating their own neurodivergent journey in a world built for neuronormative minds. I incorporate CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectal Behavioural Therapy), and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) based methods into my practice. I provide an open, affirming space for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals and enjoy holding space for youth and young adults as they navigate independence, relationships, and personal identity. I also support adults and those adjusting to new medical or physical diagnoses, including brain injuries, drawing from both research and personal experience in this area.
No two therapeutic journeys look the same, and I bring curiosity, warmth, and a big-picture perspective to help each client make sense of challenges while honouring their unique ways of learning, growing, and healing. I know therapy can feel like hard work, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. I truly believe in the power of the therapist-client relationship, and I want you to leave our sessions feeling heard, empowered, and more confident in yourself.
Outside of work, I’m an avid ringette player! I’ve played since I was four years old and still play today at a competitive level. I also enjoy skiing, rock climbing, hiking, being near water, and unwinding by playing video games with friends.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’m here to support you, challenge you, and walk alongside you as you take steps toward a future that feels more aligned with who you are and where you want to be.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I know that life can be unpredictable, messy, and sometimes just plain exhausting, especially when you’re always the one showing up for others. Whether you’re navigating big life changes, feeling the weight of caregiving, or trying to carve out space for yourself in a world that doesn’t always make it easy, I’m here to help you find your way through it.
For the past 14 years, I’ve worked in social services, supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families, a passion rooted in my own experience as the sibling and primary caregiver of a person with autism. This role shaped my dedication to helping others, especially those experiencing burnout, whether as caregivers, professionals, or those simply carrying too much. Alongside this work, I’ve developed a deep passion for couples therapy, helping partners navigate challenges, strengthen communication, and rebuild connection. With specialized training in relational dynamics, I strive to create a supportive space where couples can grow together.
I hold a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelors in Disability Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Developmental Services Worker diploma from Centennial College. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I provide a safe and affirming space, especially for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. My goal is to help you explore your potential, understand what’s holding you back, and build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
Therapy with me is a collaborative journey, not something done to you, but with you. I take an empathetic, hopeful, and deeply individualized approach, because no two people are the same. Using an integrative framework, I draw from CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), Gottman Method for couples, polyvagal theory, and humanistic therapy, adapting each session to meet you where you are.
My lived experiences also influence my work. I understand firsthand what it’s like to struggle with body image, disordered eating, and bariatric surgery. I offer compassionate, non-judgmental support to those navigating similar journeys, along with those facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, major life transitions, boundaries, and self-advocacy. I take an anti-oppressive, client-led approach, meaning therapy moves at your pace. I’ll never push you to talk about things you’re not ready for. Instead, I support you in setting your own goals and working toward meaningful change.
Outside of therapy, you’ll find me enjoying time with my partner and my two dogs, Audrey Hepburn (a German Shepard Mix) and Ethel Barrymore (a Great Pyrenees). I’m a huge foodie and love discovering locally sourced, farm-to-table restaurants, but I also enjoy some good pub food. I’m passionate about music (especially live shows) and reading.
If you’re looking for a therapist who truly gets what it means to navigate life’s messiness, I’d love to connect and see if we’re the right fit. Therapy doesn’t have to be a solo journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) CRPO #17636
Hi, I’m Anthony! I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Life can be hard, but hard doesn’t have to mean bad, and it never means hopeless. I believe that even in our most difficult moments, we can find meaning, strength, and purpose. Struggles are a part of being human, and while there’s no shortcut to making them disappear, we also don’t have to face them alone. My goal is to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges, offering support and a space where you can make sense of what you’re going through and move toward healing.
I’ve always known I wanted to work in people services, but for a long time, I wasn’t sure what that would look like. It wasn’t until I experienced a series of strokes that I truly understood how vital meaning and purpose are in human life. I made a promise to myself that if I ever regained the ability to help others, I would dedicate myself to doing so. That experience shaped my approach to therapy, reinforcing my belief in our capacity for resilience and transformation.
I earned my BA in philosophy at the University of Waterloo and my Master’s degree through Martin Luther University College at Wilfrid Laurier University. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals facing food insecurity, homelessness, addiction, grief, and relationship breakdowns, people working hard to piece their lives back together and move forward in a way that feels meaningful. I take an existential approach to therapy, combining philosophy and psychotherapy through Logotherapy, which means I focus on the search for purpose that lies at the heart of so many of our struggles. I also integrate elements of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, and Psychodynamic therapy to create a space tailored to each client’s needs. Spirituality plays an important role in my practice, and I honour the ways in which each person’s search for meaning connects to their own beliefs and experiences.
I provide a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients and support individuals working through a wide range of challenges, including identity struggles, grief, loss, addiction recovery, anxiety, and depression. My own experiences with medical trauma and recovery allow me to connect deeply with those who are grappling with illness, identity shifts, and the emotional toll of healing. I also help men navigate outdated societal expectations around masculinity, creating space for them to explore emotions, especially anger, in ways that foster connection rather than isolation.
Outside of therapy, I’ve been married to an incredible woman for over 20 years, and I’m a proud father to two (almost) grown sons. I’m a lifelong learner, constantly torn between diving into a new book, revisiting an old favourite, or finally finishing the ones I set aside. I have a deep appreciation for language, music, and the many ways we express meaning beyond words.
If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, or weighed down by life’s challenges, I’m here to help you explore a way forward, one that feels authentic, intentional, and aligned with who you are.

Individual Counselling & Art Therapy
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) CRPO #18209
You might be navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or stuck in depression. Maybe you’re grieving a loss, feeling burnt out, or struggling to reconnect with yourself. You could be questioning your identity, battling low self-esteem, or finding it hard to feel motivated. Perhaps you’re adjusting to parenthood, preparing for retirement, or wrestling with relationship challenges. It may be that traditional talk therapy hasn’t quite resonated with you, or you’re simply looking for a different, more creative way to process your emotions and experiences. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to do it alone, and you don’t need the right words to begin.
Hi, I’m Kelsey. I’m an Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I help teens (13+) and adults explore their thoughts, emotions, and inner world through a blend of talk therapy and creative expression. I believe in the power of creativity to access and express parts of ourselves that words alone can’t always reach. Therapy with me is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story.
You don’t need to be “artistic” or even consider yourself creative to benefit from art therapy. It’s not about making something aesthetic, it’s about expression, reflection, and healing. Whether we’re using drawing, metaphor, painting, or simply talking, I’ll meet you where you are. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) to help process emotions at a pace that feels right for you. Some days therapy may look like a quiet conversation; on others, it might involve using simple materials you already have at home to explore something deeper.
My path to this work is deeply personal. I discovered art therapy in high school and was drawn to the connection between creativity, psychology, and how we process emotions. During my own journey, I found that art helped me access and express feelings I didn’t have the words for, and that experience shaped my belief in making therapy more accessible, especially for those who haven’t felt supported by traditional methods.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from McMaster University and completed my Art Therapy training at the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy. My practice is feminist and LGBTQ+ affirmative, with a strong understanding of how social systems and identity shape our mental health. I’m especially passionate about supporting people through transitions, identity exploration, and times when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, creating art, trying new recipes, and hanging out with my rescue pup, Lexi. I also love caring for my plants and diving into creative projects that bring me joy and grounding.
If you’re curious about using creativity to explore your story and reconnect with yourself, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

PAIN IS REAL BUT SO IS HOPE!
Hi, I’m Janeen. Becoming a therapist wasn’t always part of my plan, it was something life led me to. After enduring significant hardships, I finally took the difficult step of seeing a therapist. I didn’t expect it to change me, but it did. For the first time, I felt truly seen, heard, and understood in a way I hadn’t before. That experience taught me that healing begins with connection. The courage to be vulnerable, to trust again, even when that feels impossible. It gave me hope at a time when I wasn’t sure hope existed. Which brings me to being a therapist today. I know how powerful it is to have someone walk alongside you through the pain, to challenge and support you, and to remind you that healing is possible.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health and medical settings, I offer a collaborative, down-to-earth approach to therapy. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO #006190) and hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. I am also a member of the LGBTQ+ community and pride myself on creating a safe space for my clients. My work spans a broad range of areas, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, relationship & family dynamics, parenting support, grief & loss, life transitions, identity & sexuality, spirituality & religious trauma, leadership development, and so much more.
I’m deeply passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, whether it’s individuals seeking personal growth or forms of healing, professionals refining their leadership, or fellow therapists building their practices. As an advocate for neurodivergent individuals, I also collaborate on ADHD medication optimization to bridge healthcare gaps.
Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking, spending time with family, traveling to warm destinations, or simply enjoying life’s little moments, like movie nights, cooking with my teenage son, and snuggling up with my giant, lovable dog, Jasmine.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, heart and hope-centered, and focused on finding what works best for you. Whether you’re facing trauma, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to support you with warmth, honesty, and deep care. You don’t have to go through this alone, hope is still within reach.
