Our **Therapy Groups** are for people coming together to express and share their emotions as they relate to a shared experience with others in the group. Each support group has a specific focus such as Parenting Youth with Mental Health, LGBTQ+ support needs, Grief & Loss, etc in order that those attending can build common ground, develop supportive connections, feel less alone through their shared experience, and learn coping strategies to navigate those experiences.
Our **Psycho-education Groups** are very structured with a focus on helping people change something they want to change by teaching participants new information, skills, and strategies to address their situation. An example would be- Anxiety: Ways to Overcome and Thrive. How that might look? Our facilitators would use different tools such as handouts and activities to teach you everything you need to know about the different kinds of anxiety and experiences of those. They would help you have a personal understanding in order to apply all of the evidence-based strategies that apply to your personal experience of anxiety. The goal is to improve how you manage your anxiety in a safe, supportive, and informative way. Other examples of these types of groups might look like- Loneliness and Isolation: How to make new friends and get out of your comfort zone in 2025, Stress Management: How to Relax and find peace when the pressures are too much, Emotional Regulation: How to stop being so Angry all the time, Boundaries: When being around family hurts, etc.

Sometimes life feels like a lot. You might be carrying stress or self-doubt, trying to find your place in the world, or navigating a diagnosis that’s shifted your sense of who you are. Maybe you’re burned out, overwhelmed, or feeling like you’re supposed to be managing—but it’s just not working. You might be exploring your identity, struggling with executive dysfunction, or trying to make sense of a world that doesn’t seem built for the way your brain works. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

I work from a neurodivergent-affirming, intersectional lens and tailor therapy to your pace, learning style, and goals. My approach draws on CBT, DBT, and ACT, but it’s grounded most of all in curiosity and care. I bring lived experience into the room too—as someone who’s neurodivergent myself, and who understands how deeply the systems we live in can shape the way we feel. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, recovering from a brain injury, adjusting to a major life change, or just trying to make sense of yourself, I offer a space where your experience will be understood, not pathologized.

In my work, I offer a space for honesty, insight, laughter, and relief — a place where you don’t have to explain the basics or mask what you’re really feeling. I’m not here to give you all the answers, but to sit beside you and help you ask the right questions. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface and find ways forward that feel right for you.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and bring 14 years of experience supporting teens, young adults, and adults through a wide range of challenges. I draw from both professional training and lived experience, especially when working with clients navigating new diagnoses, brain injuries, or other life-altering transitions. I’m committed to offering an open, affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and for anyone who feels stuck, out of place, or misunderstood. Therapy with me is equal parts depth and down-to-earth. We’ll get curious together about what’s hurting and why—and we’ll also look for small, meaningful shifts that help you move through the world with more clarity and self-trust. It won’t always be easy, but it also doesn’t have to be heavy every moment. There’s space here for softness, for humour, and for celebrating progress along the way.

Outside of therapy, I’m a lifelong ringette player (since age four!) and still play competitively. I love rock climbing, skiing, being near water, and relaxing with video games and good friends.

If you’re ready to feel more connected to yourself and supported in your growth, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Sometimes, taking care of everything means forgetting to take care of yourself. Maybe you’re the one who always shows up—for your family, your partner, your clients, your community. You hold so much, and you do it well, but lately, it might feel like you’re running on empty. Maybe you’re navigating burnout, a life transition, or a shift in your relationships that’s left you feeling lost. You might be grieving what was, trying to hold onto what is, or longing for a version of life that feels more like yours. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to carry it all alone.

This work is deeply personal to me. I offer a grounded, compassionate space for people who are used to holding it together but need somewhere they can fall apart safely. My approach is shaped by my lived experience—as a sibling and caregiver to a neurodivergent family member, and as someone who’s walked through burnout, body image struggles, and big life shifts of my own. I know what it’s like to keep moving forward when you haven’t had the time or space to tend to your own needs, and I’m here to help you find your way back to yourself.

Over the past 14 years, I’ve supported neurodivergent individuals and their families in social service settings, often walking alongside those in caregiving roles or professional burnout. Alongside this work, I’ve developed a deep passion for couples therapy—helping partners navigate conflict, strengthen communication, and rebuild connection. With specialized training in relational therapy and the Gottman Method, I support couples in facing hard conversations with honesty, empathy, and hope.

I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor’s in Disability Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Developmental Services Worker diploma from Centennial College. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I offer a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space—particularly for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. I work from an integrative approach, drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT, polyvagal theory, humanistic therapy, and the Gottman Method. But therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s flexible, responsive, and built around what actually helps you feel seen and supported.

This is a collaborative process—something we build together. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I don’t take your trust lightly. You matter to me, not just as a client, but as a person. Whether we’re exploring patterns that keep showing up, unpacking pain you’ve been carrying too long, or finding ways to reconnect with what brings you joy, I’ll be right there with you through the messy middle and the moments of light. We’ll go at your pace, with honesty, care, and zero pressure to be anything other than who you are.

I also bring lived experience to my work with clients navigating disordered eating, body image challenges, and the complexities of bariatric surgery. My approach is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and client-led. That means therapy moves in the direction that feels most meaningful for you—toward insight, growth, healing, or simply feeling more like yourself again.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my partner and our two dogs—Audrey Hepburn (a sweet German Shepherd mix) and Ethel Barrymore (our affectionate Great Pyrenees). I’m a foodie at heart and love discovering new farm-to-table restaurants (though I’ll always have a soft spot for cozy pub food). I’m also passionate about live music, reading, and carving out moments of calm wherever I can find them.

If you’re ready to feel more supported, more connected, and more like yourself again, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you. Therapy doesn’t have to be a solo journey—you don’t have to do this alone.

Being human can feel disorienting sometimes. You might be moving through a season of change, facing questions that don’t have easy answers, or feeling weighed down by patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe there’s a quiet ache you’ve been carrying for a long time—or a sense that something needs to shift, even if you’re not sure what that is yet. Whatever you’re navigating, therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with yourself, your values, and the life you want to live.

I offer a protected, open space where you can be honest about what’s working, what isn’t, and what matters to you most. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, trauma, spiritual questions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I approach this work with integrity, patience, and a deep respect for your inner wisdom. I don’t come in with quick solutions or assumptions—I come alongside you with care and curiosity, holding space for your story to unfold at your own pace.

My approach is rooted in presence and shaped by your needs. I draw from narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and spiritual reflection. Therapy with me is not about fixing—it’s about learning to listen more closely to yourself, and creating room for growth that aligns with your values and sense of self.

Years ago, I went through a major medical experience that changed me. At the time, I wasn’t sure what would come next—but I remember making a quiet promise to myself: if I got through it, I’d spend my life helping others find their way through, too. That promise still guides me. I hold space with a deep sense of care and purpose—because I know what it’s like to face the unknown, and how much it means to not feel alone in it.

A significant part of my work is grounded in what’s known as spiritually-integrated psychotherapy. While not everyone identifies as religious, I believe that we are, by nature, spiritual beings—wired for meaning, connection, and transformation. In our work together, I won’t tell you what to believe. Instead, I aim to create a space where you can bring your whole self, including the questions that don’t have easy answers. Talking about spirituality can sometimes feel like trying to hold a cloud—real, but hard to grasp. That’s why spiritual exploration in therapy doesn’t follow a formula; it’s shaped by your story, your values, and what feels sacred to you.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I bring my full self into this work—grounded, attentive, and guided by a belief in the strength and dignity of each person I meet. My spirituality informs how I hold space for meaning-making, resilience, and the deeper questions that often surface in life’s harder seasons.

Outside of therapy, I’m often immersed in music, walking my dog, spending time in nature, or reflecting through journaling and meditation. I believe in the quiet strength of slowing down, listening deeply, and allowing space for what truly matters to emerge.

If you’re seeking a space that feels steady, thoughtful, and truly yours, I’d be honoured to support you.

You might be navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or stuck in depression. Maybe you’re grieving a loss, feeling burnt out, or struggling to reconnect with yourself. You could be questioning your identity, battling low self-esteem, or finding it hard to feel motivated. Perhaps you’re adjusting to parenthood, preparing for retirement, or wrestling with relationship challenges. It may be that traditional talk therapy hasn’t quite resonated with you, or you’re simply looking for a different, more creative way to process your emotions and experiences. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to do it alone, and you don’t need the right words to begin.

Hi, I’m Kelsey. I’m an Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I help teens (13+) and adults explore their thoughts, emotions, and inner world through a blend of talk therapy and creative expression. I believe in the power of creativity to access and express parts of ourselves that words alone can’t always reach. Therapy with me is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story.

You don’t need to be “artistic” or even consider yourself creative to benefit from art therapy. It’s not about making something aesthetic, it’s about expression, reflection, and healing. Whether we’re using drawing, metaphor, painting, or simply talking, I’ll meet you where you are. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) to help process emotions at a pace that feels right for you. Some days therapy may look like a quiet conversation; on others, it might involve using simple materials you already have at home to explore something deeper.

My path to this work is deeply personal. I discovered art therapy in high school and was drawn to the connection between creativity, psychology, and how we process emotions. During my own journey, I found that art helped me access and express feelings I didn’t have the words for, and that experience shaped my belief in making therapy more accessible, especially for those who haven’t felt supported by traditional methods.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from McMaster University and completed my Art Therapy training at the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy. My practice is feminist and LGBTQ+ affirmative, with a strong understanding of how social systems and identity shape our mental health. I’m especially passionate about supporting people through transitions, identity exploration, and times when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, creating art, trying new recipes, and hanging out with my rescue pup, Lexi. I also love caring for my plants and diving into creative projects that bring me joy and grounding.

If you’re curious about using creativity to explore your story and reconnect with yourself, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Sometimes life knocks the wind out of you. Maybe you’re holding it together on the outside, but underneath, you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or quietly unraveling. You might be carrying the weight of grief, navigating a big life transition, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe you’re questioning your identity, your relationships, or your purpose. Maybe you’re tired of surviving and wondering if thriving is even possible. Whatever you’re carrying, I want you to know—there’s space for all of it here.

I’m Janeen. I became a therapist not because I always knew this was my path, but because life carved the way. After facing my own deep pain, I eventually reached out for help—and that moment changed everything. In the presence of someone who truly saw me, I began to feel what healing could look like. That experience showed me the transformative power of being witnessed with compassion. It’s what I now offer to my clients: a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out, where your truth is honoured, and where hope is quietly nurtured—even if it feels far away right now.

With over 20 years of experience in mental health and medical settings, I bring a grounded, collaborative approach to therapy. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #006190) with a Master of Arts in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. I support teens and adults through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship and family dynamics, identity and sexuality, spirituality and religious trauma, parenting support, leadership development, and more.

As someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community and who understands the impact of invisible struggles, I’m committed to creating a space that feels safe, affirming, and non-judgmental. I also advocate for neurodivergent clients and collaborate on ADHD medication optimization to help bridge gaps in care.

In our work together, I’ll bring my full presence—honest, attuned, and unwavering. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to show up and let yourself be seen. Therapy with me is relational at its core: I’ll walk beside you through the messy parts, the painful parts, and the parts where the light starts to return. I’ll support you, challenge you, and hold space for the whole of who you are as we uncover what’s been weighing you down and reconnect you with your own strength, clarity, and self-trust.

Outside the therapy room, I’m usually soaking in nature, cooking with my teenage son, chasing warmth wherever I can find it, or snuggling with my oversized, affectionate dog, Jasmine. I value real connection, good conversation, and slowing down enough to savour life’s small, meaningful moments.

If you’re ready to feel a little more like yourself again—or maybe discover parts of you that have long been buried—I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
