Sometimes life feels like a lot. You might be carrying stress or self-doubt, trying to find your place in the world, or navigating a diagnosis that’s shifted your sense of who you are. Maybe you’re burned out, overwhelmed, or feeling like you’re supposed to be managing—but it’s just not working. You might be exploring your identity, struggling with executive dysfunction, or trying to make sense of a world that doesn’t seem built for the way your brain works. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I work from a neurodivergent-affirming, intersectional lens and tailor therapy to your pace, learning style, and goals. My approach draws on CBT, DBT, and ACT, but it’s grounded most of all in curiosity and care. I bring lived experience into the room too—as someone who’s neurodivergent myself, and who understands how deeply the systems we live in can shape the way we feel. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, recovering from a brain injury, adjusting to a major life change, or just trying to make sense of yourself, I offer a space where your experience will be understood, not pathologized.
In my work, I offer a space for honesty, insight, laughter, and relief — a place where you don’t have to explain the basics or mask what you’re really feeling. I’m not here to give you all the answers, but to sit beside you and help you ask the right questions. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface and find ways forward that feel right for you.
I hold a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and bring 14 years of experience supporting teens, young adults, and adults through a wide range of challenges. I draw from both professional training and lived experience, especially when working with clients navigating new diagnoses, brain injuries, or other life-altering transitions. I’m committed to offering an open, affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and for anyone who feels stuck, out of place, or misunderstood.
Therapy with me is equal parts depth and down-to-earth. We’ll get curious together about what’s hurting and why—and we’ll also look for small, meaningful shifts that help you move through the world with more clarity and self-trust. It won’t always be easy, but it also doesn’t have to be heavy every moment. There’s space here for softness, for humour, and for celebrating progress along the way.
Outside of therapy, I’m a lifelong ringette player (since age four!) and still play competitively. I love rock climbing, skiing, being near water, and relaxing with video games and good friends.
If you’re ready to feel more connected to yourself and supported in your growth, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Sometimes life feels heavier than anyone around you knows. On the outside, you may be keeping it together—but inside, you might feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. You might be navigating the aftershocks of loss, wrestling with questions about who you are, exploring your sexuality or intimacy, or trying to untangle the hurt left behind by past relationships. You may long for a space where you can bring all the messy, complicated parts of yourself—lay it all down, without having to explain or apologize for them. That’s the space I want to create for you.
I work from a person-centred approach, which means I see you as the expert in your own life. I’ll walk alongside you—offering support, fresh perspectives, and practical tools—while honouring your autonomy and lived experiences. My style is warm and collaborative, and I’ll meet you exactly where you are in your therapy journey. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be fully and authentically yourself. I am a neuro-affirming and queer-affirming therapist, and I work from an intersectional lens that considers the larger context of race, gender, and culture.
I take an eclectic approach, drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, EFT, and somatic techniques, tailoring each session to your unique needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all method. With a background in healthcare, I value the deep connection between mind and body, and I aim to help you strengthen that connection to enhance your relationship with yourself and others.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Master’s degree in Counselling from Yorkville University.
Outside of session, I love expressing my creativity through painting, music, gardening, and cooking. I’m also a homebody at heart—most content when spending time with loved ones, playing board games, or watching a good movie.

Even the strongest hearts get tired of surviving. Maybe it’s time to understand what they’ve been carrying.
Life has a way of revealing patterns, in our relationships, our thoughts, or the way we move through the world, that can be hard to untangle on our own. Maybe you’ve noticed yourself repeating old dynamics, feeling disconnected from who you are, or wondering why certain experiences still hold so much weight. Therapy with me is a space to pause, reflect, and make sense of your story with compassion and curiosity, so you can start moving toward a version of yourself that feels more whole and grounded.
I especially enjoy working with women who are discovering new layers of self-understanding, whether through healing from past relationships, navigating attachment wounds, or learning more about themselves through an ADHD diagnosis. I also hold space for clients who are healing from difficult or harmful religious experiences and finding their own way of redefining meaning, trust, and belonging. And for those in helping roles, including first responders, I offer a space to exhale, to be fully human in a world that often asks you to be unshakable.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that you’re the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences have shaped who you are and uncover the strengths that have helped you survive and adapt along the way. My work is rooted in trauma-informed and feminist values, and guided by an intersectional, strengths-based, and client-centered lens. I draw primarily from Narrative Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and integrate elements of CBT, DBT, EFT, and solution-focused approaches when they’re helpful. More than anything, I aim to offer a space that feels thoughtful, safe, and empowering, where you can explore freely without judgment or pressure to have it all figured out.
Before joining Hope Centered Counselling, I spent over six years supporting individuals impacted by human trafficking and sexual exploitation, work that deepened my respect for human resilience and the complexity of healing. Those experiences have shaped the way I hold space for others, with empathy, curiosity, and a deep belief in your capacity to grow, even when things feel uncertain or heavy. My background also includes work alongside law enforcement and community agencies, which gave me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by first responders and those working in high-stress helping professions.
Creativity has always been part of how I make sense of the world. Long before I became a therapist, I was a designer, painting murals, building websites, and creating art that helped people tell their stories. These days, that same curiosity and sense of meaning-making shows up in my work with clients and in the ways I recharge outside of it. I love exploring new places, spending time in nature, and learning through podcasts or non-fiction books that stretch my perspective.
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing yourself, it’s about understanding yourself. My hope is that, together, we can make sense of where you’ve been, strengthen the parts of you that want to move forward, and help you build a life that feels more like you.

Sometimes, taking care of everything means forgetting to take care of yourself.
Maybe you’re the one who always shows up—for your family, your partner, your clients, your community. You hold so much, and you do it well, but lately, it might feel like you’re running on empty. Maybe you’re navigating burnout, a life transition, or a shift in your relationships that’s left you feeling lost. You might be grieving what was, trying to hold onto what is, or longing for a version of life that feels more like yours. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to carry it all alone.
This work is deeply personal to me. I offer a grounded, compassionate space for people who are used to holding it together but need somewhere they can fall apart safely. My approach is shaped by my lived experience—as a sibling and caregiver to a neurodivergent family member, and as someone who’s walked through burnout, body image struggles, and big life shifts of my own. I know what it’s like to keep moving forward when you haven’t had the time or space to tend to your own needs, and I’m here to help you find your way back to yourself.
Over the past 14 years, I’ve supported neurodivergent individuals and their families in social service settings, often walking alongside those in caregiving roles or professional burnout. Alongside this work, I’ve developed a deep passion for couples therapy—helping partners navigate conflict, strengthen communication, and rebuild connection. With specialized training in relational therapy and the Gottman Method, I support couples in facing hard conversations with honesty, empathy, and hope.
I hold a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor’s in Disability Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a Developmental Services Worker diploma from Centennial College. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I offer a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space—particularly for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. I work from an integrative approach, drawing on CBT, ACT, DBT, polyvagal theory, humanistic therapy, and the Gottman Method. But therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s flexible, responsive, and built around what actually helps you feel seen and supported.
This is a collaborative process—something we build together. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I don’t take your trust lightly. You matter to me, not just as a client, but as a person. Whether we’re exploring patterns that keep showing up, unpacking pain you’ve been carrying too long, or finding ways to reconnect with what brings you joy, I’ll be right there with you through the messy middle and the moments of light. We’ll go at your pace, with honesty, care, and zero pressure to be anything other than who you are.
I also bring lived experience to my work with clients navigating disordered eating, body image challenges, and the complexities of bariatric surgery. My approach is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and client-led. That means therapy moves in the direction that feels most meaningful for you—toward insight, growth, healing, or simply feeling more like yourself again.
Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my partner and our two dogs—Audrey Hepburn (a sweet German Shepherd mix) and Ethel Barrymore (our affectionate Great Pyrenees). I’m a foodie at heart and love discovering new farm-to-table restaurants (though I’ll always have a soft spot for cozy pub food). I’m also passionate about live music, reading, and carving out moments of calm wherever I can find them.
If you’re ready to feel more supported, more connected, and more like yourself again, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you. Therapy doesn’t have to be a solo journey—you don’t have to do this alone.

Sometimes words just aren’t enough to capture what you’re going through. You might be navigating a major life transition, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or stuck in depression. Maybe you’re grieving a loss, feeling burnt out, or struggling to reconnect with yourself. You could be questioning your identity, battling low self-esteem, or finding it hard to feel motivated. Perhaps you’re adjusting to parenthood, preparing for retirement, or wrestling with relationship challenges. It may be that traditional talk therapy hasn’t quite resonated with you, or you’re simply looking for a different, more creative way to process your emotions and experiences. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to do it alone, and you don’t need the right words to begin.
As an Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I help teens (13+) and adults explore their thoughts, emotions, and inner world through a blend of talk therapy and creative expression. I believe in the power of creativity to access and express parts of ourselves that words alone can’t always reach. Therapy with me is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story.
You don’t need to be “artistic” or even consider yourself creative to benefit from art therapy. It’s not about making something aesthetic—it’s about expression, reflection, and healing. Whether we’re using drawing, metaphor, painting, or simply talking, I’ll meet you where you are. I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the Expressive Therapies Continuum (ETC) to help process emotions at a pace that feels right for you. Some days therapy may look like a quiet conversation; on others, it might involve using simple materials you already have at home to explore something deeper.
My path to this work is deeply personal. I discovered art therapy in high school and was drawn to the connection between creativity, psychology, and how we process emotions. During my own journey, I found that art helped me access and express feelings I didn’t have the words for, and that experience shaped my belief in making therapy more accessible, especially for those who haven’t felt supported by traditional methods.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from McMaster University and completed my Art Therapy training at the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy. My practice is feminist and LGBTQ+ affirmative, with a strong understanding of how social systems and identity shape our mental health. I’m especially passionate about supporting people through transitions, identity exploration, and times when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, creating art, trying new recipes, and hanging out with my rescue pup, Lexi. I also love caring for my plants and diving into creative projects that bring me joy and grounding.
If you’re curious about using creativity to explore your story and reconnect with yourself, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Sometimes life knocks the wind out of you.
Maybe you’re holding it together on the outside, but underneath, you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or quietly unraveling. You might be carrying the weight of grief, navigating the aftershocks of trauma, or feeling the sting of betrayal, abandonment, or abuse. Maybe you’ve been through things no one should ever have to survive, and you’re left wondering how to move forward when trust feels out of reach. Maybe you’re questioning your identity, your relationships, or your purpose. Maybe you’re tired of surviving and wondering if thriving is even possible. Whatever you’re carrying, I want you to know—there’s space for all of it here.
I became a therapist not because I always knew this was my path, but because life carved the way. After facing my own deep pain, I eventually reached out for help—and that moment changed everything. In the presence of someone who truly saw me, I began to feel what healing could look like. That experience showed me the transformative power of being witnessed with compassion. It’s what I now offer to my clients: a space where you don’t have to explain the basics, where your pain is held with care—not minimized—and where we can dig into what’s been weighing you down, whether that means unpacking it slowly or diving straight into the real mess of it.
With over 20 years of experience in mental health and medical settings, I bring a grounded, trauma-informed approach to therapy. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO #006190) with a Master of Arts in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. I work with teens and adults—including parents, first responders, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, and people in leadership roles—supporting them through a wide range of concerns like anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, grief and loss, major life transitions, relationship and family dynamics, identity and sexuality, spirituality and religious trauma, parenting struggles, narcissistic abuse, separation and divorce (including legal system navigation), and integrated leadership consulting that blends organizational insight with personalized reflection and growth, and more.
I hold a deep respect for spirituality and faith, even though I don’t align with religious institutions myself. I know firsthand how belief can shape your worldview — and how spiritual wounds can linger long after stepping away from certain systems, whether they’re religious, familial, or otherwise. I also believe there’s a place for honesty and realness in therapy — which sometimes means swearing when the moment calls for it. Because let’s be real: sometimes, the situation just demands a heartfelt, “That’s some seriously messed up shit.” For clients seeking a therapist who understands the complexities of belief and the pain it can leave behind, I offer a space where your values are truly respected. I may not know your exact story, but I do know how much courage it takes to enter spaces where you’re not sure you’ll be accepted. And I’m here to make sure this one does. Whoever you are, and however you arrive, you’re welcome here.
In our work together, I’ll bring my full presence—honest, attuned, and unwavering. I care deeply about the people I work with, and I don’t take lightly the trust it takes to show up and let yourself be seen. Therapy with me is relational at its core: I’ll walk beside you through the messy parts, the painful parts, and the parts where the light starts to return. I’ll support you, challenge you, and hold space for the whole of who you are as we uncover what’s been weighing you down and reconnect you with your own strength, clarity, and self-trust.
Outside the therapy room, I’m usually soaking in nature, cooking with my teenage son, chasing warmth wherever I can find it, or snuggling with my oversized, affectionate dog, Jasmine. I value real connection, good conversation, and slowing down enough to savour life’s small, meaningful moments.
If you’re ready to feel a little more like yourself again—or maybe discover parts of you that have long been buried—I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
